I tried mounting mine to the wooden shelf in the trunk area, dont , unless you have really soft suspension and drive really smooth roads, it will skip otherwise. Anyway this prompted me to "goldberg" a mounting box. I took a plastic CD holder, a small rack that holds about 20 CDs , It turned out it was about an inch and a half larger than the changer unit on all sides, forming a U to cradle the changer sitting on the floor of the trunk. I doubt you can find the same thing, but it works perfectly and looks professional. If you can imagine what im describing you can probably come up with something similar. I then went to the hardware store with the changer unit loaded with CDs and got 4 springs of the correct resistance so that the changer rests on the springs without bottoming out. fastened the springs to the bottom of the cradle box..set the changer in its cradle and added peices of closed cell foam on the sides with just enough room to let the changer "float" to absorb the bumps. Hasnt skipped once since this rig is in place. It sits nicely in the little well next to the tool kit.
