Alarm went off

Hi all, last night the alarm system went off while negotiating a tight right hand turn (maybe a bit fast..).... just on its own. The led started blinking, the flashers and the horns went off. The car did not stop (some immobiliser - ha ?). Cleared it by pressing twice the keyless entry button on my key ring. What's going on? A loose wire somewhere or maybe the car wanted to warn me for going too fast to the corner...?? Oh well.
BTW, I replaced the front lower control arm rear bushings to PowerFlex polyurethane. What a difference ! Took it for a wheel alignment check and the mechanic pointed out that the aluminum bits in the front bushings are coming apart. Will have the bushings replaced tomorrow and the alignment rechecked. The right front wheel had 0,3mm too much toe in, all other values within spec. Even such a small error was very noticeable after it was corrected !
