What you are experiening is a lifter without enough oil during the start. I assume it quiets down after it runs for a minute and the oil pressure has gotten the oil to the top of the engine.

Some oil filters have a "check value" that affects how the oil flows through the filter (and when it bypasses the filter). I have been told that filters with these valves are better at feeding the motor oil in cold starts (I assume either some pressure is maintained in the engine due to this valve, or the cold/thick oil bypasses the filter and gets to the after the engine is shut off. If you look into the oil filter (when empty) you will see a spring if the filter has a check valve. I am not sure if the Saab OEM filters have this, however you can look at the aftermarket models (some have this, some do not).

I would suggest buying a filter with the spring/valve and see if this goes away.
