I just did my 90 turbo AGAIN. It was not charging (love that display to warn you) so I replaced the brush pack. 4 weeks later, it does it again! I took the alternator out, and the shop where I take them tells me that the rotor (what the brushes run on) is worn down to the core!! They overhauled it and its been fine since. Stinker of a job tho to get out, but once you find that bolt up on top of the alternator, rest is easy. Take off your oil filter too, makes life easier.(on a 2.0L at least)
