Yeah, if it'd been me, I think I would have emptied a 45 into the hard drive, ASAP. Well, I'm not a gun guy, but I can dream! Last thing I would have done is left it available to visitors. Well, what can you do ...

I don't know much at all about Linux, but I do know that you can run Windows in a Linux shell. I always thought that was the height of stupidity and absurdity, but now I get it! Run the Front Page stuff in a bulletproof Linux shell. On a personal machine, it makes no sense, but on a server, it makes great sense.

On the contrary, being without the site is making me crazy! When the site's up, I can just post a message saying "See here", and include a link to the page. Without it, I have to type the same stuff in over and over again ... which, after all, is why I made the site in the first place. It keeps me from hanging out with you guys a lot, but it also keeps me from having to say the same stuff over and over. Like everything else, there are plusses and minuses to every situation. All in all, I think the site has been helpful to everyone. I tell you, though, I really think it's time to seek sponsors and post it more professionally. I know how irritating advertising can be, but if it means no viruses, fast response and consistent operation, it's probabaly worth it.
