I have people telling me that mine looks like a copy of BMW or Volvo etc... and then I remind them that the 9000 was first made in 85 and then upgraded in 93. Look at a BMW or volvo from 85!
I love working on the 9000 too. Lots of room actually and fairly mechanic friendly. I thought I was going to help a friend with a Mazda 323 change her outer CV boots since I had just done mine. Nope, have to remove the whole damn shaft.
People think Volvos are safe and they are. But SAAB rated higher than Volvo according to a Swedish insurance company. SAAB is also very environment friendly.
Think I'll go for a drive...
