At first I thought there might be a possibility of the microswitch in the door being kicked but that would take 10 seconds to time out. Therefore it must be power interruption since you verify it is the same as powering down the thing.
Look for usual suspects:loose push on connectors at fuse and all the grd points you can come across.
I first read that the logic box was grounded at the engine grd with the siren but its not. Sorry if I mislead you but the logic unit is grd'd at the glove box relay cluster, maybe on the left of the relays in the wide area. The rt. side of the wide area is the +30 supply rail which sources the fuse and then the logic box.
There is a power supply junction where the red 4.0 from the fuse branches down in a junction / splice of some kind to the 0.5 red which enters the box.
And don't forget the little piece of bead chain from the stray child who removed it from Daddy's key ring and dropped it so it is swinging against something of the logic unit and only touching in the "Turns of Trouble".
