Hey guys,
Short version: I bought the two month unlimited Carfax subscription, and I'd like to offer to run a report for anyone interested, just email me the VIN of the vehicle and I will forward you a report.
As some of you may have noticed, I bought a new vehicle last month... actually not a Saab, but don't think bad of me, I'm just saving my money for a nice 9000 Aero. Signed up for Carfax, did a report on the vehicle I was going to buy and it came up absolutely clean. I put in a vehicle with a known accident (copied the VIN off the police report, it was totalled)... and it came up clean! Granted, it is in their fine print that they do not get police reports from many states, and this was in a state that they don't get reports. I asked for a refund under their satisfaction guarantee that they advertise so heavily... and they said... no. Twice. Since I had run more than one report (that was also in the fine print). Techinically, they are correct, but I think that is crappy customer service. So, technically I can run as many reports as I want since I bought an unlimited account, and that's what I plan to do.
Saab on!!
