Yep, it's totally doable. The easiest and cleanest way of doing it would be to swap the engine engine from one car to the other. If you have time and are electronically inclinced, you could also install the DI/APC, but it would be substantially easier to simply install APC from an earlier car. Going the latter route, you'd need to swap the engine & exhaust, then make a simple wiring harness to connect the engine knock sensor and RPM signal to the APC box and solenoid... pretty simple, all said and done.
You are probably best off not to try and bolt the turbo to the 2.3l motor in the 9000S. Although people have done operations like this on the c900, the 2.3l motor has an even higher compression ratio than a 900S, and turbo-ing it would be even more risky. I'd just swap the motors, install APC and use the stock Hall-Effect ignition... it's a full weekend's work but honestly not much more.
