Tires DO make a difference!

My car ('96 CSE LPT -> FPT) really drives like a SAAB should now! I've had Michelin Energy (195/65/15)Pirelli P6000 twice(195/60/15), Michelin Pilot Exalto twice (205/60/15) (I drive a lot, 175+ miles a day) Now I just bought Michelin Pilot Primacy (195/55/15) and I'm totally impressed! I almost feel like I'm back in my old '85 900T 16 which I drove for 15 years, it's that good! To be honest, I don't know if the tire itself is responsible or the tire size (shorter sidewall). One thing's for sure, these tiers are a lot quieter/more comfortable than the Exaltos and the Pirelli's, and to my surprise, my mileage increased even though I have a smaller diameter tire ! (low roll resistance?) The handling is now as perfect (except for slight body roll) as it can get without sport springs, shocks... I don't know what else to say except that the fun has been put back into driving and that now the 9000 drives like a SAAB!
