Well yet again my saab has decided to be a piece of shit.
as you all know i've been trying to fix a soft clutch pedal problem,
slave throwout all that crap now after weeks of waiting master cylinder came, being as my old one is crap. I took the old one out last weekend and then put it back in only hand tighting everything just so i don't have to worry about it leaking right? hah.....somehow the nut that holds the metal pipe onto the bottom inlet to the clutch master has froze up on it....by now of course its between a 13-12 mm in size originally 13. A 1/2 inch fits on it also now but slips right off, several different size vicegrips also slip right off even when using at such a tightness i was suprised the nut didn't crush in under the force. But no this was a hand tightened nut so why the ferk you ask i having so much trouble getting it off? Ferck if i know. but being as its in nuteral I'm probably going to take the plates off and push it into a nearby lake.
Course i was also thinking i could cut the pipe at the nuts backing, but how would i flare the pipe back out once i got a new nut for it?
