Well, I'm narrowing it down some. Let's say I'm going to stick with Dunlop, Michelin, or Pirelli. I looked for the Firestone SZ50 but not finding it yet, as another possibility.
It looks like Pirelli P7000 or PZero, Dunlop SP Sport 9000, or Michelin Pilot (not in any preference order). Now, and remembering that not all items available in all sizes, I'd like to hear comments on moving from the stock 205/55 to 215/45, 215/55, 205/45, or 205/50. Keeping in mind that Saab put on a tire size that they think is best so moving off that may be chancy.
Right now I'm looking on the Tire Rack site because they have a pretty good search.
Let's say that my preferences are 1) performance 2) noise (less) 3)treadwear 4) price.
And I'm still willing to hear about other brands, I know some people are swearing by Continentals. But at some point I have to make a decision - the easy choice is the 205/55 Michelin Pilot but in spite of my stated preferences, at $160 a tire, price does start affecting me - thus probably I'd do the Dunlop 9000in the same size at $117. Then again I'm tempted to try a 205/50 or 205/45 just for kicks.
HELP!?
