And it feels like i've got a whole new shifter. The old bushing just went two days ago, and first thing this morning i went to the dealer to get my new one (which i got hosed on, but what could i do? i needed it right away) and i put the new one on first thing this morning in no time at all. Now that i've got that i notice just how soft and loose the old bushing was, each shift now slides right into place and feels firm and authorative, it's just so precise now. Just thought i'd let yall know. It's a 92 9000S and i've had the car almost a year, this is only the second thing i've had to fix on it (besides regular tune up stuff), the first was the voltage regulator. I'd recommend to anyone that's feeling like their shifter is lose in their 9000, take a couple hours (at most) and replace this bushing. Like i say, i got hosed on mine for 35 bucks from the dealer, but i've seen the bushing online for 17 and 20 dollars or so.
