Update on life of GreenStuff brake pads

Having been asked the other day how long these lasted, and not having had a clue at the time, I can now give an update since I removed the front pads today while changing the discs.
As a very rough estimate, I had been using them for about 3000-4000 miles. The pads are still very thick and I would estimate (again, roughly) that they are about 1/5-1/4 worn. That tells me they would probably have lasted somewhere between 12,000 and 20,000 miles. Bear in mind, however, that the old discs were useless (not OEM, I don't actually know who made them) and although the GreenStuff gave better braking with these discs than Saab pads did, even they didn't really perform as well as I would have expected from good discs and standard pads.
That said, I do drive hard so a less "eager" driver with better discs that were harder on the pads could maybe expect the same lifetime. Bill Davies with his grooved Trent Saab discs on a CSE auto reported 10,000 miles. I expect perhaps the same on my Aero from a set of GreenStuff with the PowerDiscs, which are also grooved (with a different pattern, I believe).
Maybe I'll now get more dust too...
