rear reading lights and map light and the seatbelt message in the roof console.

I too have learned about this fuse (#3 I recall). A quick stop at the side of the road during a family road trip turned out to be not so quick. Our experience shows an increased potential for fuse blow to be related to higher car interior temperatures. It took a while to find the visor as culprit. Long before this, I had disassembled the console, found the lock device and easily dismantled it's operation by misaligning (bending) the small plate operated by the solenoid. No more "stuck in park" when the fuse is blown, but our car is now not locked in Park with the ignition off. ... And there is a simpler solution!

Quick fix until you solve(read replace)the visor: The visor power flows through the inboard visor clip (mirror side). Unclip the visor and use electrical tape (duct tape has worked as well) around the visor pivor bar to isolate the visor contacts from the power circuit.
