"I've had it with this damn innertube"
so I think that either the master is failing or there are air bubbles in the clutch line. Today and yesterday I've been working on making a pressure bleeder for the clutch. After reading about a guy who made one from a garden sprayer from Ave hardware I decided to give it a try. Yesterday I went to Red Rooster (autoparts) and found the right sized cap for the saab fluid reservoir ("Help" brand, GM reservoir style, red package $7) I also bought an o-ring so that it would hold pressure ($1.49)
Today I rode my bike to the local Ace hardware (remember the clutch doesn't work) and bought a "Chapin Garden Sprayer Plus with three year warranty" for $15.99. I also bought a 1/4 inch fitting that I screwed into the top of the cap (drilled a hole first of course) and sealed with two washers, some RTV silicone gasket sealer, and a nice brass nut (total < $7). That's currently drying in the garage and I'm going to try it out later this afternoon. Total cost thus far < $25.
I'll post again when I try to bleed the clutch system with it.
