There are half a dozen great places to buy quality Saab parts. Some are better at phone orders vs. e-mail vs. online catalog.

My personal shopping style works best with thesaabsite.com. TW is very good with online catalog orders, which is my preference. I order what I need and he sends it to me when I need it and gives me his best price.

Jim M. at Sobstory.com is better on the phone in my experience. He doesn't always return e-mail quickly and there's little in the way of online catalog. But, he rents specialty tools (which is great), has everything and aims to please.

Eeuroparts.com has great prices, and free UPS ground shipping with $50+ orders, but you have to be a little careful of what is OE, what is aftermarket, etc.

If I need something RIGHT NOW, I call Andrews of Princeton because I buy my cars there and they are right up the road (1 day UPS ground). Dorine, who runs the parts dept, knows me and my cars. They have also just recently upgraded their online catalog.

Almost all these guys/gals are Saab owners and DIYers or were/are Saab only mechanics and will give their best advice. They all have great prices, will match each other, ship two day, overnight, whatever. They all care a lot about their reputation in this online community and will always do what is right.

They ALL want our business VERY BADLY. WE are their bread and butter. The DIY market is great for them. They reward customer loyalty with their best deals, best service, free shipping, etc.

Thank God they are there, because I personally HATE having to buy from a dealer, especially the one here in Minneapolis, or trying to find parts at local stores, which are always aftermarket, and mostly crap.

All this is just MHO of course...
