The only thing that looks slightly high - and I do mean very slightly, is the labor for the rear brake pads. That seems compensated for by the low labor on rear rotors and calipers, though, as well as an excellent price on the rear calipers (assuming those are new - even rebuilt still a decent price). Oh, and the oil service is rather high if this is just an engine oil change..
Yes the parts prices are a little higher than you or I could get on our own, but nowhere near dealer prices. Without having an 'in' or evidence of where you can obtain the same parts for much less, you shouldn't expect a shop to just automatically match or beat any other part price. The labor costs look very reasonable at this shop.
So what's does 'bypass ignition' mean?? There are several parts in the ignition - coil, amplifier module, distributor, cap, rotor, plugs, wires.. what they heck are you going to bypass, all of those parts need to be working!
FWIW, new rear calipers alone on this car are about $120 each, new rear rotors $25-30, new rear pads $30 a set roughly. That totals out to $320 (at the BEST part price I've seen), throw in a few more dollars for oil, filters, brake cleaner/lube, and you're at about half of the total invoice. That sounds about right to me, half parts half labor..
