The MAP sensor is an active device and requires a power supply to work. Once powered, the output is a voltage that varies with absolute pressure. I wouldn't expect it to do anything unpowered (as I'm assuming it must have been for you to measure resistance).
There is Trionic documentation on the Townsend site that covers the MAP sensor and how to test it.
I agree with Anders that if the MAP sensor were stuck, you'd have seen a fault code by now.
