Memory full ???

1994 AERO boost problems continued. The last 2 days I disconnected the battery during the night to perform new adaption runs from scratch. Well, it looks like my ECU doesn't react anymore. I immediately have the same behavior as before disconnecting the battery (at least for the boost management, during the first seconds the engine has no idle). Especially the boost fluctuations between 2500 and 3000 are there right from the start. I remember that in the early days when I bought the car, diconnecting the batt. would reset the ECU and boost level would be higher in the beginning of the runs. Only then the needle would start to bounce until adaption was done......and that's exactly the behavior I now have since months, just as if the ECU couldn't achieve the adaption. Could there be any feedback missing or is there a type of permanent memory not affected by the disconnected battery ???
Any clues ???
Thanks
Alain
