Thanx for answers to my previous questions..
Got the 87 turbo last nite.. WOW it's one hellofa car for very little $$$!
Rock solid.. as good (better ?) than my 900 and i bought it new!
Lottsa fun with the boost, trans works perfectly.. but there shift lever moves up and down an inch or two as if a bushing has fallen off..(not associated with mounts) will open it up today.
Sterring.. works fine mostly but has an intermittent "sticky spot" ((right turn) that is not the morning sickness symptom that my Oldsmobile once had ..and took a new rack to fix. Yes the Belt cannot be rmoved.. BUT local SAAB master Mech sez it's safe and OK to disable rack for "armstrong" steering..reroute pump hose. Will save this idea as last resort tho ;-)
Many little niggly probs, door adjustments, noisy blower motor:-(, Drivers seat has a list to the left , broken power antenna (Gawd what a stupid invention).
Anyways, am liking this new toy a lot.. the Son will have to fight for it's use ;).
