Mine used to read OK until I was in slow moving traffic, then it would rise, if I was London it would go from 7'C upto 21'C as the engine heat warmed up the bay, this would (seemed to) affect the ACC unit, I guessed that the ACC looked at the outside air temp to decide whether to heat or cool before blowing into the cabin. So I moved the sensor (unplug and extend wires) 6 inches to behind the front bumper (fender), it still goes up a little in stationary traffic but not as bad, and the ACC seems to be a lot better.
