I have read many of the postings adressing hard starting. All are inciteful but didn't find one that addressed my specific symptoms. I have a 91 9000 non turbo that does't start quickly-some times. When it doesn't start quickly (normal) the tacometer needle isn't bouncing. Once it does it will start. No correlation to Hot or Cold, just random. It seems to help if after cranking over several times I turn the key off and back to start again and it will start immediately. I seem to remember some postings adressing the "tacometer symptom" but couldn't find it on searching. Trying to avoid the shotgun approach of replacing two or three other items before catching the culprit. DON'T NEED THE EXPERIENCE!!
