CD changer addition update

FYI: for my 95 9KCS I ordered a Clarion CD635 off Ebay. It was used and didn't work. My local stereo shop checked their books and reported to me that the correct changer is the (also C-Bus compatible) CD625. The main differences are :
625 has optical digital out port *unnecessary for factory saab install
625 is made in Japan, 635 is made in China. They use different magazines
The 625 worked on the first try. It took me 20 minutes to install.
It cost $169 plus $29 for an extra magazine. Note that you must pull the radio out of the dash and connect the DIN cable that is dangling back there. I just used a clothes hanger to trip the radio locks (2 little holes on face of radio), pulled the ashtray out, and reached behind the unit to push it out from behind. Then pull the black DIN cable out (it's dangling back there with a little plastic cover on the pins) and connect.
happy motoring
