Steve's method works and he makes a good point about the clearance with the fascia; it is especially tight in my 93, which has a wood dash panel. The SCC has a spring clip at the top and bottom. I removed mine by sticking a 1/2-inch wide thin flat metal strip at the bottom center, which released the clip, allowing the bottom to swing out, which in turn released the upper clip. There are two identical connectors, but one is marked with a yellow dot. A third connector is used only with the analog clock, but the SCC has a plasstic holder to keep it from rattling about.
