Don't know what year your car is, but if it's an older one with the clutch master above the pedal, I've got a rather unorthodox bleeding trick that has sometimes worked. It revolves around the concept that the air bubbles always want to go to the top (I'm an expert in gravity ;^)).
First, wrap a rag around the master cylinder. Then very slowly depress the clutch pedal all the way and hold it there for 30-60 seconds. The goal here is to end up with the air at the top of the high-pressure line going into the master cylinder (i.e. the highest point in the system). Continuing to hold downt the pedal, carefully loosen the nut attaching the line to the master to allow the fluid to escape (the rag is supposed to catch it). Hopefully you'll see air escaping too! Retighten the nut, and let up the clutch pedal. Repeat this until no more air comes out. Basically what you're doing is good old-fashioned pedal bleeding, but releasing the fluid at a different location.
Your mileage may vary, but I've had pretty good luck with this technique.
Also, there's another possibility: I haven't been able to find the info recently, but I have a vague recollection that early 9000's had a problem with the sheetmetal in the area where the clutch master is attached being too weak and deforming. You might want to take a look and make sure the master isn't moving when the pedal is depressed.
