Usually it's not a big problem with the 3 wire universal ones. I wasn't sure about your car since the parts catalog list the same O2 sensor for 95 as for 96 and up, which is for sure a 4 wire sensor. ( this is turbo though)
If your car is a nonturbo It uses a different O2 sensor compared to the turbo engine. And also the 2.0L engine is using a different sensor compared to the 2.3L engine. So you see it's a lot of different options out there and it might be that Walker isn't up to par when it comes to making a universal one for all cars.
Since it's a 3 wire in your car, I would buy the Bosch universal one that many have used and spliced in to the existing harness. That partnumber is 13913 and most of the sponsors on this board sells them.
