I think it is quasimotors.gar.net (no http://www is what I have). He goes into the whole fan thing in detail, very helpful. My 90 9kT fan ran on high for too long (default speed when fan resistor blows) and finally wore out fan motor. THAT was a job... 3 hours? Took me about 3 evenings, but it was cold and i had nothing better to do. Quasi's site goes over that too, and I have some pics as his site shows the 2.3L engine, and the 2.0L (your 89)is more difficult. I hope you don't have to get into that (fan and heater core). Unless you like to stand on the head and wrestle with your heater core for fun that is! : )
