It depends on many factors. First off, all turbo 9000s have a timing chain, not belt. This particular one also has balance shafts and chains. Also, '91 and '92 were the first years of the 2.3l turbo, and the chain sprockets may be unhardened steel (if original still - probably at 88k). This means they are prone to early wear, and should be replaced. I'm not sure how much this is, but don't consider it 'minimal' maintenance.
'92 I believe also has TCS? That can be troublesome, or not, but can be expensive if it is.
Depending on how many miles you drive, I wouldn't depend on 3 years of minimal maintenance. Two, maybe. But, if you only drive 5,000 a year, four years should be no issue, as long as it isn't ALL stop and go driving. I drive 18-20k a year though, so really put on the miles..
I personally don't feel 100k is anything special, it's just another spot on the odometer. It all depends on the type of driving and how hard it was driven, as well as how regularly the routine maintenance was performed.
Anyhoo, my point is, the 9000 can be very reliable if driven properly and maintained properly, but let that slip and repairs can get quite expensive and frequent. Though, it should be noted that I have never owned a 9000 with less than 151k miles on it, so take this with a grain of road salt.. :)
