Oil Pressure Update- Obituary----->

Hi all,
First of all, thank you very much guys that resoponded to my oil pressure crisis. I could not figure out the problem, after blowing in every conciveble part of the engine trying to find a clog, kyle and I found nothing. The oil pump seems to be working but no pressure would build.
After spending more than 50 hours and probably 1k dollars on my 86 9k T I am going to give up. I have not driven the car since Sept, when I took it of the road, and after many repairs that were documented on this site something really wrong.
Last night when we put it all together and "tried" one more time, the enigine sounded awful. Although as always it started right up the oil pressure was none existant. The was some knocking in the lower part of the engine (block) that I am assuming to be the bearings.
I think that for me this is enough, this obssesion with my car that was abused by the previous owners so much, is illogical. I can't further justify spending endless hours getting filthy and screwing up my parents' garage and my personal relationships with people in attempt to revive something that is not revivable. Last, I will part the car out on Ebay.
There is a happy ending though. I found an 89 9k T that I think I may convert into a 5 speed. The car presently has a new auto tranny so I would like to make arrangments with salvage yard for a trade. If any have advice the floor is yours.
So until next time see ya.
Roman
