Back in January I purchased an 88 9K turbo with a known ABS brake fluid leak. I did a little scouting and thought I had located a replacement hydraulic set up for $150 at a junkyard in Pennsylvania. I purchased the car and sent the junkyard a picture of my ABS setup prior to purchasing. It was a good thing I did. It was not like what they had. As I learned 88 and early 89 had a different ABS configuration than later models. Eventually I got lucky and found an 88 being parted out. I had to take the 2 units and combine them to make one as each had a problem. I got lucky and that worked out for me. My leak was an external one at the input side of the accumulator pump. His master cylinder would not hold pressure. Good luck and if I can assist in any way let me know.
