I am puzzled. My 9000 cd turbo ran "fine" until I decided to clean all of the plugs under the hood to free them of corrosion and sprayed them all with dielectric spray and blew them all out with the air hose. I was prompted to do this by examining the circuit board in my heating and air conditioning box because the a/c nor the heater were working like they used to. I noticed a few corrosive spots on the switchboard and also some rust. After doing this my a/c and heater worked alot better than they had since I bought the car. That 's what led me to attempting to fix a problem that had been ongoing for several years now, which is the car starts only when she wants to. Just briefly though. All I usually have to do is yell and light a cigarette or slam the hood and she starts right up. Therefore I cleaned all the plugs under the hood. Not thinking I unhooked the big round plug??? under the plastic wiper shield. While it was running. It immediatly died. So I put everything back together and started it up. When I let off the throttle it died. The next time I started it, I put it in gear and it died "real hard" as if it had a standard transmission and your foot was on the break and you let the clutch out in gear. My car is an automatic. The third attempt to start it, I kept it running long enough to smooth out, so I backed it out of my drive way to test it. Within about 100 feet it died as if it ran out of fuel and hasn't started since. I checked all the relays under hood, behind glove box, etc. The relay for the fuel pump is not bad, yet the only way I get the pump to run is if I manually activate the relay. This is also the only way I can get power to the fuse. Even doing so manually the car still won't start. Can anyone help me at all with any of this madness??
