Boy the support on this message board is great! Feels great to be apart of this Saab community. About my 9k it's a 91 turbo and it has 209k Km on her. As for noises there is a slight squeal for a second or two when I start the car, and the ABS and brake fluid light stays on a couple seconds too. I assume the brake hydralics are just building pressure at start up. As for my serpentine belt it will have to be replaced very soon, with the rest of the chains and sprockets because it has some oil on it. I wonder if the squeal at start up is a pulley slipping on the serpentine belt? The oil pump gasket is believe is the culprit for the oil on the belt. The only other place oil comes out is on the driver's side of the engine where there is a rubber plug of some sort. I'll give the fluids a check and see what I find.
