I smacked into the curb back in Feb. and have had a snapping noise coming from the front end ever since whenever I brake and the weight of the car goes forward. I also had an alignment done and they were not able to get it exact (still pulls slightly to the left although I hit the right-side pretty hard).
I posted to the BB about this a few weeks ago, and 3 responded with similar experiences and all of them had broken the aluminum bushings.
Haven't had a chance to check mine out, but I'm sure they're gone. Was told they're fairly inexpensive ($10 ?) and pretty simple to do yourself.
