Using three different additives in the 92 9000 Cd-Auto Posted by Serge [Email] (#1363) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Serge) on Fri, 14 Jun 2002 13:40:04 In Reply to: Valvoline's MaxLife Motor Oil Report, Trl90CD, Thu, 13 Jun 2002 16:31:56 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I put a 2.5 cl graphite additive in every 20 liter fuel I put in the car ( Super 98 ), a 200 ml graphite additive in every oil change ( about every 3500 kms ) and a 200 ml graphite additive in every cooling fluid liquid change ( every 3500 kms ).
It helps to keep the all stuff cleaned, prevents all dry up of all the plastics and caoutchouc parts and prevents the corrosion of all the metallic parts in friction. So they say . The products are all coming from the same society " Marly " who provides products for Formula I
racing cars.
I must honestly say that the car, knock on wood and cross my fingers, is running great. But I really can't assure you that it is because of the use of these products. I am a quiet driver, 60 to 80 kms/hour is my speed, I don't run my tran wildly and I am a freak about the service ( as you've seen : a little service every 6 months/3500 kms and a big one every 18 months/10500 kms ).
So ... I am wrong to use these stuffs ? Is it usefull or totally useless ?
