Hi,
1.I think that your AMM is not working. When mine was not connected properly (the contact were dirty) similar symptoms. Its is not the BPV, that only prevents back pressure when you let go off the gas pedal. You should start with the basics though. Check to see if there is spark at all the plugs. This is gone by removing the plugs and have an assistant crank the motor while you hold up (2-3 mm away) the connected plugs to the body of the car (any metal part will do). If there is spark at all of the plugs then its the other 2 ingredients, air or fuel. If there not spark at plugs check the distubutor cap. Is the rotor (the thing that spins) dirty?, screwed up?.
Now for the air. Check to see if the air filter is clogged. If it is replace it. You can check if that is your major problem by running the car without one for a minute. This is also an oppurtinity to check the AMM. Its the black cylinder connected to the plastic plastic tube on the air box side (where the air filter goes) and on the other side there is rubber air tube to the turbo. Look to see if the contacts are dirty. If they are, clean them gently.

i don't know how to check the fuel. but the other common thing is a broken vacuum hose. first inspect all of them carefully, often the simply pop off or break. Nothing? When you get the car started hold up a propane tank/ canister UNLIT Move the gas canisted arround the engine bay close to the tubes if the enigine races you got a leak. Replace the hose.

The Trunk.

The problem is always the same and simple. To get it open and to see it for yourself
1. Climb in the trunk
2. Unbold the two bolts holding the bottom locking braket. They are right in the center and are copper looking.
3. Remove the bolt pull up on the trunk,, viola its open
4. With the trunk open and you standing pull up on the wool covering the inside of the trunk door. You have to remove the handle I think its 2 star screws.
5. You will that the rod has disconnected from the piece attached to the handle. NOTICE, that the little fitting on rod has a cup. To get cup on the little ball on the latch mech you must CAREFULLY pull up on the little lip on the rod piece. (This will enable for the cup to open more to recieve the ball) Fit on the cup on the ball close the lip. Your done just put everything back together Often you have to adjust the plastic piece on the rod (by turning it) for the latch to work the best so fasten the wool cloth in the trunk door last. Its fasten by plastic squeres and clips. The clips fit into the squares that are stuck in the square openings in the metal of the door. Take pliers and gently remove the clips from the square pieces, place the peices into the body of the door and then press the clips in.

DOOR LiGHT
The door light does not go on because that botton under the hinge is screwed up. You must clean it. It have never done this but its not hard.

Hope this helps

Roman
