I'm back to working on the rear hatch wiring problem. I checked the rear brake light grounds on both sides as you suggested. then i went in search of ground G5..G7? under the left rear seat but couldn't find it. i pulled the rocker, left rear seat back and carpet out but no sign of a ground point anywhere. the harness runs from the front of the car under the rocker plate past the rear seat and then one wire set splits off and go to (fuel pump?)while the rest continues up over the rear wheel well. i could not find the ground.
Anyway...i was woundering if you have a similar model car and if you could confirm the following wire connections? open the rear fog light access in the hatch and look at the wires from the fog light to the harness connector. I have the following:
black to black
brown to blue w/red stripe
blue to white
grey to green
the fog light has brown wire on the vertical post that T's off and black wire on the horizontal post. both of these wires come from the reverse light.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
