... you might have restricted choice of wheels and tyres due to clearance in the wheel well. The CS hatchback style ('92-on, '93-on for the US) has more clearance than earlier hatchbacks, and I think the CD too from '94 or '95. My Aero (CS body) came with 16" wheels and 205/55 tyres. I recently drove a CS with 17" wheels on it, but I didn't note the tyre size. There are others here who have more experience with wheels and tyres, but it will help if you clarify the year and model.
