Copper grease vs. Anti-seize (silver) lube

Since I've seen copper grease mentioned many times on this board to be used for anything from turbo flanges to brake caliper pins, I've been wanting to buy some of it to keep on hand. Problem is, I can't find it anywhere here in CT. I do find Copper Silicone Sealant and also a spray-on copper sealant/lube.
Question: I have a bottle of Permatex Anti-seize lube (silver) that says on the bottle can be used for manifold threads, O2 sensor threads, brake mechanisms, etc. It can withstand temps of up to 1600 degrees Farenheit. I have used this stuff for many years and for many purposes, mainly for the brake caliper sliding pins, wheel lugs/bolts, and anywhere else I want some lubricant on. Can this be used in place of the copper grease?
Since I'll be installing a JT exhaust system, I was hoping to be able to use this stuff on the turbo flange to act as a sealant, just as BillJ advised using copper grease on the turbo flange when he installed his system.
Any advice is appreciated.
Joe
