I weighed my Super Incas when I took them off the car to compare them to the standard wheels I had sitting around and the 15x7" wheels I was putting on the car. They all had tires on, so the comparison isn't really fair, but the Super Incas did weight almost exactly the same as the 15x7" rims and were a couple pounds heavier than the stock rims. I was glad that I wasn't adding any "unsprung weight" over the Super Incas with the larger tire/wheel combo.
A heavier wheel will probably result in worse handling. Think of the wheel (well, tire really) hiting a bump. The bump pushes the wheel into the air and the heavier the wheel is the more momentum it has, meaning the more power it takes from the spring/shock to push it back into place. A heavier wheel makes the springs and shocks less effective and it also means that the wheel spends less time in good contact with the pavement, which hurts handling on rough roads. Don't think a couple pounds makes a difference though.
