sodium filled. These should be very lightly touched with a very fine wheel and not severely ground( it will remove the protective coating, if pitted, best to replace. The best for exhaust is to polish the face with fine lapping stone and hand lap. The slope of a 4 valve heads are critical and a 2-3 angle cut not a single cut so that is special for good rework and proper seal. Intake is 11/45/60-75 degree on seat and valve is 44.5 x .060. Ex is 45/60-75 and valve is also 44.5 x .060. Be sure seals are replaced and not reused. All valves should be hand lapped lightly and checked for seat width before installing springs. check your springs too- 140 pounds at compressed length of 1.12 inches- replace if below 125. If you really want a first class job - check cam follower bleed down. but if you have had no noise after a long sitting ( 2-3 days) should be ok.
If you remove the head make sure you are very clean with the cam followers cams and cam bearings. be sure to block up chain after setting engine on TDC No 1> good luck
