Well, here it is. Took longer than I expected due a stubborn hydraulic
line at the power steering pump - there's not much room back there
for wrenching! Also, a simple thing like taking off the front wheels
turned out to be a real horror. The guy I bought the vehicle from
put new tires on it - whoever did the work torqued-down the lug bolts
so tight that my impact wrench wouldn't break them. It took a long
breaker bar and my jumping on the very end to break the bolts free.
My impact wrench is rated at 250 ft-lbs. Whoever put these on was
a real idiot and I spent a good while cursing this nameless idiot
real hard! Anyway, it's out - now, I've got to do it to the other vehicle
to complete the swap! Oh, the guy in the picture isn't me - it's my
friend Vic.
