with this setup, 17" Fittipaldi's. The ride was unexpectedly harsh, but thinking it was due to the Dunlops in need of replacement anyway, I bought my second set of Bridgestone Potenza RE730's (was very happy with these tires on my 98 Mustang Cobra). This moderated the ride somewhat, however, it doesn't take much of a bump to bottom-out the front with a very loud "thump!" Closer inspection indicates I've only about 1" from top of tire to fender lip which I suspect is the reason for the noise-not enough clearance. Without getting into major mods of this suspension, I've tried to adjust my front Koni's, but they won't turn either way without possibly stripping this fragile-looking tool. Will try some liquid wrench or other solvent to loosen this. My thinking is I need to adjust to a stiffer setting to avoid bottoming out. Otherwise, this car is a blast with no body lean, quicker response.
