You have Girling fronts.. springs are attached to pads, dunno if their purpose is Anti rattle.. But I smear anti squeel goop onna back of the pads.. always.
Rears are ATE. One of the pads, the one intended for the piston side of the caliper has 4 spring thing arms attached to the pad for insertion into
the caplier piston.. presumably the poorly illudtrated items. There is also as you say a convoluted "C" clip wire that inserts into holes onna caliper, presumably to stop rattle (squeel?) Without doubt the Wire bit is available from yer local greedy Dealer. Pads intended for your car DO have the attached spring thing that fits inna Caliper piston.. You obviously have wrong pads :-)
I always use PBR Metal Masters on all 4 wheels, laughably cheap and work beyond expectations.
