Saabing Profusely - Auto tranny madness

Against all of the comments I had read on this board, I purchased an 88 9K turbo automatic back in January. It is a gorgeous car and drives like a dream. The tranny seemed smooth as glass so I took a shot. The tranny went from shifting perfectly to would barely move in the course of around 5 miles. I then rolled the dice again and bought a used remanufactured tranny which I installed over the past few days. It shifted beautifully and suddenly the birds were singing again. After 20 miles of bliss I lost all gears, forward and reverse. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo ! Back on the hook and back in my yard. I threw a car cover over it until I can re-group physically and mentally. Does anyone have any magic dust I can sprinkle over this car to return it to service? In other words, any suggestions? The car drives too well and is much too gorgeous to sit on the sidelines. I need to get it back in the game. Thank's for listening.
