1992 9000CD Turbo
My ACC has not been functioning properly. I purchased a trouble code reader and initially got 12231. Saying this "always is the first code displayed when engine is off. Crank approx. 5 seconds if code disappears then it is Ok." Now I can not get the car to turn over. Did I trigger some anti-theft device. I've tryed turning the drivers side key to unlock and back to neutral 3 times in an effort to reset, but no luck.
More on the ACC. I pressed Auto & Vent to recalibrate. It went through the cycle and read out 1. Now it is in the off position instead of the normal auto setting and the buttons will not operate. I cannot even get it back into the recalibrating cycle to try and clear it.
This all began with the A/C blowing hot air. I read that if the battery is disconnected the ACC must be recalibrated. I went through the whole radio code reprogramming and thought I might have a simple fix for the ACC. Right now I just want to be able to start it again. Any help would be a God sent.
Thanks
Dan
