SRS light again for Steve B -- HELP facing big $

Thanks for your post about the voltage regulator causing both an SRS light and a radio code. We were suspicious of the voltage regulator for other reasons and had ordered one several weeks ago but hadn't put it in yet. New one sure helped the voltage but unfortunately we could not get the radio code to reset. Did the reset by the manual many times. Waited the hour etc. Took it into the dealer today and now they are saying they are finally getting an airbag code. Means either replacing the airbag or the module for big $ either way. My question is this. Could low voltage cause a fault in the SRS codes and the system still be ok? Remember the system read ok last week before I got the radio code and the SRS code. Thanks.
