I was thinking maybe a c-clamp using it to push the mount out. I'd rather not remove the bracket from the car, 'cuz I don't want to mess with the belts etc... If need be I will just take it to the dealer and see if they'll pop the old one out for me. Shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes right? I could disassemble everything and then install the new mount afterward. Maybe I'll try the c-clamp tomorrow and maybe I'll get ambitious and just go for it with the saw.
I'm assuming that covering the belts would be a good thing (metal shavings tend to be bad). Right now it's time to get some ZZZZ's.
