When I did mine, I seated the headliner on one side and pushed upward at the B pillar on the other side until it "snapped" into place. If you want to take the B pillar cover off, you need to remove the upper seat belt mount cover and unsrew the large torx screw. Make sure you keep tack of the washers - it only goes back one way.
At the top, the cover is held on by plastic spring clips that snap into two rows (one row on each side of the cover) of rectangular holes that line the seat belt mount height adjustment cage. They can be released by nudging them (pushing their locking tabs through the mounting holes to release) one by one through the gap created when you remove the inside weather stripping. There is also a spring friction clip inside the cover near the front middle. It slides off of a metal tab.
There are two screws at the very bottom that need to be removed if you plan on removing the cover completely. Loosening the two screws beneath them that partially attach the door threshold plates helps when you are pulling the cover free.
