Did the dealer just erase the fault codes, or did they perform the whole calibration procedure?

For faults D/E7590 here's the test procedure:
1. Deal with all other codes first.
2. Clear the codes and test drive the car to see if the code is regenerated.
3. Connect a vacuum gauge between the safety valve and the throttle housing vacuum chamber
Start the engine and check that a vacuum is raised in the throttle housing vacuum chamber.
Check that the throttle linkage arm moves out of the throttle housing and slackens the cable.
Remember that most electrical failures in the ETS system will shut down the safety valve and cause no vacuum to be available at the vacuum chamber.
4. With the engine running, and good vacuum shown on the vacuum gauge, disconnect the check valve from the intake manifold (leave it connected to the safety valve.)
If this causes the vacuum reading to drop more than 0.1 bar in 2 minutes and the throttle housing arm to retract, it indicates a leak in the system.
To pinpoint the leak, shut the engine off, reconnect the check valve, start the engine to raise the vacuum, and pinch the hoses one at a time before disconnecting them to locate the leak
a. Hose from check valve to saftey valve - if the leak disappears try a new check valve
b. Hose from safety valve to vacuum chamber - if the leak disappears try a new safety valve

5. Try a new throttle housing
6. Try a known good ETS ECU

ETS means the Electronic Throtlle system.

I hope it's just a vacuum leak or just bad procedure by the dealer (not recalibrating.)

Let me know how it plays out. Most of the 1992's I know have had the newer improved throttle housing - except mine - and I have 131,000 miles on it.

Good Luck.
